iTop

The iTop connector allows you to import your Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ITSM tickets and service contracts from your iTop platform.

Objective

The iTop connector allows you to import the following information:

• CMDB (Configuration Items, equipment, software)
• ITSM tickets and incidents
• Contracts and services

Prerequisites

• Access to iTop with data export rights
• Active iTop platform

Authentication

This connector uses API Token authentication with Auth-Token header.

Procedure

Generate API Token

1. Log in to iTop with administrator rights.
2. Go to Administration > Users.
3. Select the user account to use for API access.
4. Navigate to the API Token section.
5. Generate or retrieve the API token.
6. Copy the token for use in OverSOC configuration.

Configure in OverSOC

1. In OverSOC, go to Data Sources Settings > Sources.
2. Select iTop and click Configure.
3. Enter the iTop server URL.
4. Paste the API token in the authentication field.
5. Use the Auth-Token header for authentication.
6. Click Save Configuration.
