Tenable Security Center

The Tenable Security Center connector allows you to import your vulnerability scan results, scanned assets inventory and risk scores from your Tenable Security Center platform.

Objective

The Tenable Security Center connector allows you to import the following information:

• Vulnerability scan results
• Scanned assets inventory
• Risk scores and assessments

Prerequisites

• Access to Tenable Security Center with export rights
• Active Tenable Security Center platform

Import modes

This connector works in file import mode. OverSOC accepts the following formats:

• CSV: tabular export from Tenable
• JSON: structured export from Tenable

Procedure

Export data from Tenable Security Center

1. Log in to Tenable Security Center.
2. Go to Analysis or Scans for vulnerability results.
3. Select scans or assets to export.
4. Click Export and choose the CSV or JSON format.
5. For complete inventory, use Assets > Export Assets.
6. Download the export file.

Import into OverSOC

1. In OverSOC, go to Data Sources Settings > Sources.
2. Select Tenable Security Center and click Configure.
3. Choose the CSV Import or JSON Import mode according to your export format.
4. Import your export file.
5. Click Save Configuration.

Synchronization frequency

Exports can be scheduled regularly via:

• Manual export after each scan
• Integration with a scheduler for automatic export
• Periodic export script via Tenable API
